Meet Dr. Takii

Born and raised in Southern California, Dr Takii joined the US Navy straight after graduating high school. After serving 4 years as an Enlisted Sailor, Dr Takii began college. He used the Montgomery GI Bill to pay for his education and obtained a bachelor's degree in biology. One year later, he was accepted to the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Again, Dr Takii joined the military to help pay for his education. This time, he joined the US Army as a Commissioned Officer and used the Army Health Scholarship to pay for his dental doctorate degree. Dr Takii has served a total of 15 years of Active Duty, deploying to Afghanistan and meeting his future wife while stationed in Germany. From poverty to doctor, the American dream lives on through Dr. Takii!
